Uncle Billy
My Uncle Billy has been working on installing a gas fireplace in my mother’s living room for the past 5+ hours.
He will, no doubt, continue to work on it until it is fully functional.
His handyman abilities are renowned.
In 34 years, I’ve yet to hear of a task that he can’t fix, install, build.
Nor have I heard either complaint or boast.
My ability to fix her...

Ethan (5½ years old): Let’s get Underdog!
Me: Have you seen Underdog?
Ethan: No, but I’ve seen half of a commercial for it once.
p.s. - grammy bought it for him a few days later. And he loved it. But that’s really not the point, is it?
