It Occurs To Me...

...for those times when a blog is too much but twitter isn't enough.

I saw this at Borders yesterday and wondered “Who is going to buy this? Surely no one would buy it for him/her-self, so it would have to be a gift.”

So let me get this straight: you know someone who is a chocolate lover, but instead of buying them, oh, I don’t know, something made out of chocolate, you give them one of these inane chicken soup books?

Are you mentally incapacitated or just a lousy friend? 

“Hey! I know you like going to the movies, so here’s a picture of my cat watching TV.”

Chocolate lovers are the easiest people in the world to buy presents for: the thing they love is edible with a shelf life.  Buy them chocolate, not this book.

If we all work together maybe we can end the mind-numbing stupidity that is the  Chicken Soup book series.
